Easter Morning

I have found that as I get older, Easter becomes more and more significant to me every year. Especially now that I am a parent, the sacrifice that God made by sending His only son to die on the cross for my sins-a wretch like me, so undeserving-is beyond amazing to me. I really wanted to focus on the true meaning of Easter this year with the kids. I did get them Easter baskets with just a few little things inside, but we really tried to talk to Blake and Berkley about how Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day. We taught Blake to say, "He is risen!". We practiced it with him and tried to remind him that that was what the Easter celebration was all about.
